A Revolutionary Event to Connect Emerging Artists with Buyers

On Thursday, September 23 from 7:00pm to 10:30pm, Sohos Anthem Gallery will host Finding Rembrandt 2004. The event is a unique opportunity for New York emerging artists to publicly show their work in this premier Soho art gallery. Also, most importantly, all proceeds from the event will benefit disadvantaged children in New York City. All proceeds raised from the silent auction will benefit icouldbe.org, an organization that provides mentoring to emerging children.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 12, 2004 -- On Thursday, September 23 from 7pm to 10:30pm, Sohos Anthem Gallery will host Finding Rembrandt 2004. The event will not only be a unique opportunity for New York emerging artists to publicly show their work in this premier Soho art gallery but will also, most importantly, benefit disadvantaged children in New York City. All proceeds raised from the silent auction will benefit icouldbe.org, an organization that provides mentoring to emerging children.

The event will feature a relaxed open atmosphere with live jazz music provided by the Mac Harris Ensemble and an open bar sponsored by Armadale Vodka, Bao 111, The Sun Burnt Cow and Cruzan Rum. During this evening full of live music and complimentary drinks, all 22 artists will present paintings, sculptures and photographs on a fixed amount of space they will be provided as their canvas". The artists are free to present their works in any way they believe is most impacting and enjoyable to the audience.

The Anthem Gallery is located at 41 Wooster St., between Broom and Grand St.
