The Robinhood Free Meetinghouse 72-layer Cream Cheese Biscuits Now Available Online and to Wholesalers
Maine company announces launch to wholesalers and consumers of their 72-layer Cream Cheese Biscuits, sold uncooked and frozen.
(PRWEB) September 12, 2004 -- The Robinhood Free Meetinghouse, a five-star restaurant and on- and off-premise caterer in mid-coast Maine, has launched the first in a line of quality specialty food products: their 72-layer Cream Cheese Biscuits.
The biscuits are being sold via mail order from Stonewall Kitchen in York Maine, Mackenzie Limited in Baltimore, Maryland, and The Robinhood Free Meetinghouse Web site, as well as at retail specialty food markets in Maine and Massachusetts. A bulk pack is available for bake-and-sell situations, bed and breakfast inns, convenience stores, and similar outlets.
Im really quite surprised at the level of enthusiasm following the initial samples sent out," said Chef/Owner Michael Gagné. Were planning an expansion of our facilities to accommodate the increased production necessitated by the growing popularity the biscuits are enjoying. Im the guy who built a restaurant in the middle of the woods, and the biscuits are bringing new customers to the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse. We couldnt ask for a better ambassador."
The biscuits, which are light and fluffy, are sold uncooked and frozen by the dozen and go directly from the freezer to the oven. They can be eaten as a breakfast biscuit with butter, jam, or honey or used as a base for fruit shortcakes with fresh whipped cream. If thawed and divided, they can be dropped into stews or soups as dumplings or rolled, spiced, and sugared for cobble tops.
