Red Hat Society Founder Sue Ellen Cooper to speak at Women's Showcase 2004

Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper will make a grand appearance Saturday, October 16th at 1 p.m. on the Main Stage at the 2004 Womens Showcase in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

ST. CLOUD, MN (PRWEB) September 12, 2004 -- Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper will make a grand appearance Saturday, October 16th at 1 p.m. on the Main Stage at the 2004 Womens Showcase. An excellent opportunity to meet the woman who made getting older a true celebration for women.

Sue Ellens appearance will follow a special Red Hat Society Members Only continental breakfast at the Womens Showcase with its own lineup of surprises. With 30,000 Red Hat Society chapters around the country, these events are sure to be a popular addition to the Womens Showcase.

Because of the expected demand and to maintain fairness, special registration will be required for Sue Ellens presentation at www.womensshowcase.com or by calling 320-259-7108. People who have purchased tickets for the celebrity events are not guaranteed seating for Sue Ellen and must register specifically for her.

The Red Hat Society has exploded across the globe ever since a few women got together six years ago for tea in their red hats and purple outfits. With a mission of using age as a license to be silly and build relationships for women over 50, Red Hatters now comprise more than 600,000 members. Anyone can be a Red Hatter if they embody its spirit of fun and silliness. But they have to wear muted colors of pink and lavender until they hit the esteemed age of 50, according to chapter guidelines.

We get e-mails every day from women who say that adding Red Hat Society membership to their lives has been like finding an oasis in the desert of life. The quality of sisterhood that has developed is amazing," notes Sue Ellen Cooper.

The bestselling Red Hat Society book (Warner Books, April 2004), The Red Hat Society: Fun and Friendship After 50" by Sue Ellen Cooper will also be available at the Women's Showcase.

If theyre going to do the things weve talked about, I cant think of giving more of a 'Wow to the group," hints Pat Kirk, Queen Mother of the Greater Cold Spring chapter.
