Dellwo will discuss the business drivers that necessitate physical inventories. He will then explore fiduciary perspectives that support conducting physical inventories including property management and sponsored projects support. By accomplishing inventories efficiently, participants will be able to maximize indirect cost recovery, reduce costs by identifying idle or obsolete assets, and support baselines for financial management and reporting.
About Paul Dellwo, CPPM
With over 20 years experience, Dellwo is responsible for Stanfords asset management compliance, as well as systems implementation and enhancements. He has co-implemented several asset management systems at Stanford, from stand alone home grown systems to enterprise-wide applications. Previous positions include Varian Associates and other roles with Stanford University. Dellwo is recognized as a Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) with the National Property Management Association (NPMA), the only professional organization for the discipline of asset management, and is a member of the Bay Area Chapter of NPMA.
