Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 15, 2004
MTI, an industry-leading provider of speech IVR hosting, services, and solutions, announced today the expansion of its speech IVR technology infrastructure and service offerings in response to surging customer demand for flexible speech IVR outsourcing solutions.
As MTI sees dramatic growth in its speech IVR business, the company continues to expand its best-of-breed technology infrastructure. ÂOur goal is to give customers maximum flexibility and economy in deploying their speech applications, said Mark Abramson, CEO. ÂWith a much broader range of speech applications coming to market, there is greater demand for customized solutions. WeÂre meeting that demand with significant investment in hardware and software. Of course, this is the beauty of outsourcingÂwe make the capital investment so our customers can focus on their core businesses. MTIÂs expansion includes the acquisition of new Excel switches and an increased range of in-network call transfer capabilities.
Customers wanting dedicated circuits now have a greater range of provisioning options. The switch can accommodate diverse spans while distributing call traffic across all of MTIÂs VoiceXML and SALT gateways. ÂCustomers now have the best of both worlds. They can terminate dedicated facilities at MTI while at the same time benefiting from our redundant infrastructure. One of the strengths of the Excel switch is that we can customize its operation. That gives us real flexibility when solving customerÂs CTI and routing problems, said Abramson.
MTIÂs expanded in-network call transfer offerings allow speech IVR systems to completely control the call transfer process. Now VoiceXML and SALT applications can accomplish blind, attended, and courtesy call transfers with ringing or music, and with optional information digits. Applications can also determine if the originating party hung up prior to the transfer, and whether the party called answered, hung up, or was ring-no-answer. This all occurs without taking up a second circuit on the platform. According to Abramson, ÂOur extensive experience with call routing led us to create a variety of templates for our customers. These templates provide exceptional functionality, save our customers time and development effort, and are available today.Â
ÂWeÂre very excited to offer our customers solutions which both add flexibility and save them money on each any transaction requiring routing, says Abramson. ÂWeÂve seen a real need develop as more companies are trying to integrate far-flung networks of call centers, legacy IVR systems, different long-distance providers, and new speech applications. The more they can control call transfer options, the more freedom they have to design effective solutions.Â
