Plenitas, ArgentinaÂ?s leading Medical Travel Provider, offers surgical packages.

According to a recently released survey by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Argentina ranks as the fifth most popular destination in the world for plastic surgery. Also, based on an internet survey, Plenitas is the leading medical travel provider to Argentina (http://www.plenitas.com).

According to the ISAPA (http://www.isaps.org) the top five destinations for elective medical procedures are: USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and Argentina. The rankings were based on the number of procedures performed in each country, and countries with a higher population ranked higher than Argentina.

“The fact that Argentina made the top five countries for plastic surgery, including ahead of all European nations is due to our world class medical facilities and doctors as well as very competitive international prices,” said Cinthia Gawianski, COO and co-founder of Plenitas, a leading medical-tourism provider in Buenos Aries, Argentina.

According to the survey, the top surgical procedures performed worldwide are Blepharoplasty (eyelids), Breast Augmentation, Lipoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Breast Reduction, Facelift, and Abdominoplasty. Lipoplasty, which includes liposuction and liposculpture, the most popular surgical procedure up until last year, has dropped to third place. Blepharoplasty and Breast augmentation are first and second, respectively.

“We expect Argentina to advance higher in these rankings as people in the US and Europe become more familiar with the medical excellence in Argentina, as well as the availability of first class tourism from culture to adventure vacations,” added Gawianski.

Plenitas offers medical-tourism packages for all surgical procedures as well as interesting combinations such as a breast augmentation and tango lesson packages.

All of Plenitas’ medical packages include hotel, transfers, bilingual assistant and travel options within Argentina such as trips to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian-Argentine border. All the travel and medical information including the doctors’ education and medical training are posted on the Plenitas website at http://www.plenitas.com

Plenitas offers what no other medical tourism provider can, and that is the medical excellence and warmth of Argentina, added Gawianski.
