EthoStream, LLC Releases RMC 2.0

EthoStream, LLC Releases Version 2.0 of its Remote Management Console

(PRWEB) September 16, 2004 -- EthoStream, LLC, one of the leading providers for HSIA within the Hospitality Industry, has increased its advantage over competition with this new release, Version 2.0 of its unparalleled Remote Management Console (RMC). EthoStreams RMC provides existing customers with numerous benefits that are not available in any other Hospitality HSIA product. In addition, the RMC is continuously updated through EthoStreams innovative Release Scheduler. Version 2.0 has doubled the features available to users as well as create a more intuitive and streamlined interface.

The RMCs three primary abilities are the Management of a properties High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) system, Monitoring usage and status, and Reporting of all facets of the HSIA and guest experience. A number of additional modules are available for plug-in to the RMC including a web-based Printing Solution for hospitality guests, Video Surveillance & Security System and an IP Telephony system. The RMC is also fully integrated with a number of different certification and HSIA programs including the Hampton Inn Login procedure and the Holiday Inn portal standards.

Management of a properties HSIA with the RMC is incredibly simple the new version 2.0 interfaces. By selecting the Site Admin or Console Admin options from the top of the RMC, the user will be provided options such as Bandwidth Prioritization, Billing/Password, Conference Scheduling, Content Filtering, VLAN Configuration and many others. This allows property owners and staff to take an active part in the management of the onsite HSIA. This also gives managers the ability to make rapid changes such as the immediate need to schedule a conference room. Management through the RMC has been simplified so that several different authorization levels may be created and only those users whom need certain abilities are locked to just those abilities.

The Monitoring ability of the RMC allows users to view current and historical statistics in order to evaluate and upgrade the current HSIA systems. By viewing current bandwidth utilization, property owners may proactively upgrade Internet service in response to increasing guest or hotel needs. Owners may also monitor the number of users within their property to ensure strictly guest usage and facilitate the growing need.

Lastly, the Reporting features of the RMC have been greatly improved to include exportable listings of user-defined reports. This includes equipment monitoring, guest-usage, bandwidth, and Internet browsing statistics. All of these abilities are solely found in EthoStreams HSIA system with the EthoStream Gateway Server (EGS 2.0) and its integration into the EthoStream Remote Management Console. Owners even have the ability to view the Support Calls statistics and listen to guest support calls directly from the RMC.

Interested parties may contact EthoStream Sales at sales@ethostream.com or 877-536-2984 for a demonstration of the Remote Management Console.
