www.readythinkvote.com Launches -- With Reduced Rhetoric, Site Targets Undecided Voters with Examination of Bush Record on Iraq War, Tax Cuts, Gas Prices, Poverty, Jobs and the Deficit
Aimed at undecided voters, www.readythinkvote.com avoids political rhetoric and sticks to the facts (on Iraq war, jobs, tax cuts, gas prices, poverty and the deficit) in examination of Bush administration
(PRWEB) September 17, 2004 -- A new web site, www.readythink.vote.com launched today is aimed at undecided voters. It asks them to do two simple things this election season: Look at the facts -- and vote. While there is no political party affiliation with the site or its operators, it is dedicated to understanding the failures of the Bush presidency.
The web site, often using administration sources, examines the Bush administrations record objectively. Using straightforward language and simple, easy-to-understand charts, the site seeks to avoid political rhetoric and give uncommitted voters a valuable educational resource.
"We clearly believe that President Bush does not deserve reelection," Tom Watson, the sites founder said. "But were not motivated by Michael Moores film, John Kerrys Vietnam service or the vitriolic political rhetoric that has become all too familiar in this campaign. Were interested in a straight-ahead examination of the record."
The site examines some telltale political issues in an objective manner. They include:
• Poverty
• Job creation
• The federal deficit
• Gasoline prices
• Iraq war
• Tax cuts
"What weve tried to do," Watson said, "is take a very honest approach. We want to look at just the facts -- with no personal attacks. The numbers speak for themselves. There are more people living in poverty. Jobs lost instead of gained. A record deficit. And a war in Iraq that is not supported -- either by troop level or financial commitment -- by the international community."
The site, while clearly advocating President Bushs defeat grants no accolades to the John Kerry campaign. "Since the Democrats have failed to present a clear examination of the current administrations record, we think the site will serve a purpose -- especially for undecided voters."
