Oregon Chapter 8th Air Force Historical Society Quarterly Meeting Saturday November 13, 2004
The local Oregon chapter of the 8th AFHS will meet starting at 10:30 AM at the Elks Lodge in Beaverton, Oregon. Everyone interested in aviation, past members of the 8th AF who flew combat in the skies over Europe, or people intested in history are welcome to attend.
(PRWEB) September 17, 2004 -- Eight Air Force Historical Society, Oregon Chapter, quarterly meeting will be held on Saturday the 13th right after the November 11th Veterans Day holiday.
Meetings are held at:
Beaverton Elks Lodge
3500 SW 104th Avenue
Beaverton, Oregon
The meeting is free, you do not have to be a member to attend this or any quarterly meeting.
The Elks lodge is located at the end of 104th off of Canyon Road in Beaverton. The intersection of 104th and Canyon is where Thrifty Car Rental is at. Canyon road is also known as Highway 8. Beaverton is located 5 miles west of Portland, Oregon.

The organization is open to anyone who has an interest in World War II aviation. It is dedicated to preserving and passing on the knowledge of what the people in this Army Air Corps (later renamed Army Air Force) unit performed in air and on the ground in combat over Europe, the Balkans, North Africa, India, and Russia, in World War II.
If you wish to join a yearly membership is only $10/year.
