Gorch Fock Announces Fall Tour with Bleach

Gorch Fock (Austin, TX) and Bleach (Okinawa, Japan)announce their upcoming Fall Tour

Austin, TX (PRWEB) September 18, 2004 -- Coming off of their capacity show at CBGBs in New York with Alice Donut in July 2004, Austins Gorch Fock announced on Friday that they will be accompanied on their upcoming Midwest and Eastern U.S. tour by Okinawa, Japans female powerhouse Bleach. The tour, which will take them from Austin, TX through the Midwest to New York and back, kicks off in Austin, TX at Emos w/ the Melvins on October 6th. Described by the Village Voice as somewhere between Tom Waits and the Jesus Lizard and by the Austin Chronicle, as Headbangers ball as imagined by Salvador Dali" Gorch Fock continues to tour in support of their self-titled full length album on Perverted Son Records while awaiting the upcoming release of their sophomore effort Lying and Manipulating".

Formed in the Fall of 2002 from members of several Austin bands the band has had plenty of road experience. Before Gorch Focks inception all had previously played in touring bands. Notably, drummer, Jason Morales, toured with the Butthole Surfers in 2002 throughout the U.S. and at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Since their formation they have toured with Helios Creed as well as headlined several regional outings including headlining the New Orleans Media Experience (N.O.M.E) on Halloween of 2003 with the contributions of former Butthole Surfers film artist Lori
Surfer.

Bleach returns to the U.S. for their 6th and longest U.S. outing after three South by South West Showcases and an appearance during the CMJ music Festival.

The Upcoming release entitled Lying and Manipulating" was mixed by Mark D. former bassist of the Melvins with Engineering and Guitar contributions from Tim Kerr formerly of the Big Boys.

Joey Ficklin is currently also in the band John Galt from Austin, TX, Via Las Cruces NM

Jason Morales is currently also in the bands Tia Carerra and the Migas in Austin TX.

Jason has also spent time on the road drumming with the Butthole Surfers including the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and recorded 3 albums with his band Star Fish for Trance Syndicate Records. Most recently he has been playing with Richard Buckner in Austin, TX.

Bryan Nelson currently plays in Attack Formation and Sniffy 2 in Austin. His former bands include Peglegasus and Sister Run Naked. He is also a recording engineer at Sweat Box Studios and has recorded and worked on records with bands from around the world

Kevin Stack currently lives in Las Angeles and commutes to Austin for the band. He was currently in the band Gong Li with Win Wallace.

Aaron Seibert formerly played in The Snails, Jack Astronaut, and Stout (Columbia, MO).

Jeff Swanson is an artist working in multi media artwork including video, painting, and collage as well as playing in Gorch Fock.

Win Wallace played with Jack Astronaut with Aaron Seibert as well as Gong Li. He is also an artist doing poster art, pen on paper compositions and other media in addition to music.
