I began developing my site, on September 7th 2004. When I started, I didnt know anything, about Web Mastering, or Affiliations. I had no HTML experience. I am learning more every day. The design, of 1stPromotion is pre-tem plated. The nice thing about this, for me, is I am a total beginner, to HTML and Web Hosting. The structure of the template still allows me flexibility, with my layout and design.
This entire concept, for me is invaluable. It does take many burdens off ones shoulders, like encryption and security. Even though, its pre-fabricated, it can be an incredible tool, for veteran Web Master's to utilize. This is something anyone, with the desire can do. You can jump in, with both feet like I did, or start out part time, if you are the cautious type. I dont have an advisor, or instruction manual. What I hope to accomplish, through the use of my site, is to provide other internet marketers, with a one stop shop and resource center, for affiliation programs. Every product, and program offered, on my site earns 25%-75% commission, or more.
Every banner and text link will lead a surfer to that companys affiliation program. I recommend LinkShare. Heres the most beautiful part, of it all. There is no paperwork to handle, no customer service requests, or products to handle. The only things, I hope to do are post the link, and watch my bank account grow. There are over 11,400 programs, on my page, to choose. There is a Market Place, and a Site Search, to allow for a particular topic search. The ease, of use, with my page is extremely convenient, for the average web surfer. I am waiting, on several affiliate program application approvals, for Citifinancial, Discover, and my list is growing every day.
Like I said, this is not a get rich quick scheme. It is taking hard work, to build this site. My advice to anyone interested in this kind of marketing is: Make a decision, before you start. Decide what kind, of income you want, to generate, for yourself. Take advantage, of any or all programs that appeal to you. Stop by my site, and just browse. Tell me what you think. Offer suggestions, or ideas I might look into, and try. I am planning a monthly news letter, in the future. I am doing this alone.
