Chez Ami by Patsy Aiken Designs to launch new line for Older Girls!

Chez Ami, a children's clothing line to launch new line of clothing for girls size 4 and up.

(PRWEB) September 20, 2004 -- Patsy Aiken Designs is launching a new line, Chez Belle. Chez Belle is being designed to focus more on the slightly older girl - mainly 7-12 years, but the sizes will include 4-14, perhaps even some size 16 items this coming Spring 2005 season. Chez Belle is in addition to Chez Ami (which will focus mainly on sizes 12m-8) and Chez Bebe, for babies

In 1979, Patsy Aiken began selling unique designs to a childrens boutique in Coronado, California. Friends and neighbors helped her sew and her two young children were fit models and quality testers. All of this activity took place in a small room over her garage, using a old closet door as a cutting table. Two years later, her husband Joel, a Naval Aviator, resigned from the Navy so that he and Patsy could run the new company together.

Today, Patsy Aiken Designs is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Still a family business, Patsy oversees product design and manufacturing, while Joel is in charge of finance, planning and software development. It has been written that " She is the reason the business is a success and he is the reason it doesnt fail."

Patsy Aiken Designs has been nationally recognized for its upscale layette, infant, toddler, childrens and girls apparel for 20 years. All apparel and accessories use traditional styling and colors paired with intricate appliqués or embroideries.

Under the labels P.A. Kids, Patsy Aiken Designs, and Splash, Patsys designs were found in upscale specialty stores and better department stores for twenty years across the country. However, most stores offered only a small selection of the extensive line created by Patsy and her talented design team. As a result, many of our customers asked how they can have access to a larger selection of Patsy Aikens unique styles. To satisfy that demand, the Chez Ami Home Party line was created.
