In November 2002, Parpia watched Dr. Phil with excitement, because she knows this method works. After all, she had successfully potty trained her two boys (now 9 and 12) using a similar method. Thinking about the challenges of tools available gave her the idea to develop The Complete Potty Train in One Day" Program. She used her engineering background to design and develop dolls to be drink and wet-on-demand (Patent Pending).
The biggest challenge was getting all the tools together, especially finding a doll that drinks and wets" she says. When I did find a doll, it had a straight tube from the mouth to the bottom, and as you can imagine, it was challenge to have it drink and urinate in the potty. Also, the doll I purchased did not come with any big kid" underwear, so I had to sew underwear for the doll".
The anatomically correct drink and wet-on-demand dolls are named Potty Scotty and Potty Patty. The Complete Potty Train in One Day" Program, not only includes these dolls with all the appropriate accessories, it also includes a Potty Chair and a Toilet Seat, 6 pair of big kid" underwear for the toddler and a Potty Training Guide authored by Parpia.
