Blue Moon Galleries, Downtown Waynesboro Virginia's newest retail store, will provide customers in the Shenandoah Valley the convenience of in-store ordering from the company's rapidly expanding selection of unique and upscale gift and home decor items.

Waynesboro's Office of Economic Development announces a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Blue Moon Galleries, Downtown Waynesboro's newest retail store. Members of the business community and City Council will gather to officially welcome Blue Moon Galleries to the City. This exciting new business is a welcome addition to the City and further builds on the "Waynesboro, Within These Walls" campaign.

Showcasing items from the company's popular group of luxury gift and home decor websites, Blue Moon Galleries will provide customers in the Shenandoah Valley the convenience of in-store ordering from the company's rapidly expanding selection of unique and upscale gift and home decor items. While Blue Moon Galleries has remained one of Waynesboro's best-kept secrets, the successful Internet and mail order retailer has enjoyed national attention, supplying baby gifts to celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow and Geena Davis and recently provided bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts for Tori Spelling's wedding.

"Our new retail store will allow us to bring our exciting selection of upscale gifts to the local market and greatly improve our customer service by providing a level of product expertise and a selection of merchandise not typically found in discount and 'big box' stores, especially in this area. We offer items comparable to what you will find at Tiffany & Co., Macy's and other luxury retailers, as well as affordable high quality gifts to fit almost any budget. We've built our business selling to customers all over the world via the Internet, and now its time to bring it home to our own community", says Stacey Strawn Evans, Co-President of Blue Moon Galleries.

A press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Wednesday, September 29th from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
