Turingart Releases New Version of iURL, Turingart's Unique Link/URL Management Tool for Macintosh.

iURL is a universal URL management system for internet power users and multimedia designers. iURL is designed to be the one central place, which stores any kind of UR - local file:// URLs and internet based http://, https://, ftp://, aim:// and virtually any other URL type.

Kiel, Germany (PRWEB) September 22, 2004 -- turingart is pleased to announce the immediate availability of iURL 1.2.3 for Mac OS X.

iURL is full featured. Smart groups organize URLs by means of URL and keyword filters. Besides URL management, iURL includes a download manager, a unique Discover feature to find embedded URLs in web pages and a Multiload feature, which downloads multiple files using one URL.

The most current version includes besides graphics preview, a new Quicktime preview feature, which read files from local volumes or streams media through the internet. Preview now shows GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, MOV, AIFF, MP3 ad more formats. Furthermore, generic URLs manage whole classes of URLs, optimized for web site search operations.

Besides this, iURL integrates well with OS X and provides nice drag and drop functionality.

Currently, iURL is available for Mac OS X and MacOS 9 in english and german. Platform editions for Windows and Linux are planned.
