TODAYS STAFFING RANKED HIGH BY CUSTOMERS IN RECENT SURVEY High Marks Given to Candidates and Service -- 96 Percent Overall Satisfaction with Todays Performance

Todays Staffing, Inc., a staffing industry specialist and subsidiary of staffing and outsourcing leader CDI Corporation (NYSE: CDI), announces today the results of their 2004 Customer Satisfaction Survey. The survey, sent to Todays Staffing clients in August by an independent company, was distributed to more than 5000 current and past customers, and had more than an eight percent response rate.

DALLAS -- (September 20, 2004) -- Todays Staffing, Inc., a staffing industry specialist and subsidiary of staffing and outsourcing leader CDI Corporation (NYSE: CDI), announces today the results of their 2004 Customer Satisfaction Survey. The survey, sent to Todays Staffing clients in August by an independent company, was distributed to more than 5000 current and past customers, and had more than an eight percent response rate.

Highlights from the survey results include:
•   Ninety-six percent of respondents are satisfied overall with Todays Staffings performance.
•   Nearly all of the survey respondents -- 94 percent -- would recommend Todays Staffing to another company.
•   Survey respondents rated Todays Staffings customer service and job candidate quality as superior relative to other staffing companies they use.
•   Todays Staffings service satisfaction guarantee received high rankings, with 66 percent of respondents indicating that the guarantee is better than most.

The results of the survey show Todays has a high reputation for placing quality candidates and offering quality customer service," says Dan Neuburger, president of Todays Staffing. This is further reinforced by the fact that 94 percent of survey respondents would recommend Todays to another organization.
