'Guerilla Guide To Politics A Hit in Georgia

This October, Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) Education will air 'Guerrilla Guide to Politics (GGP) to over 2000 K-12 schools, 64 public libraries, and 70 post-secondary institutions as part of the Georgia Secretary of States Civics Month" initiative.

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) September 22, 2004 -- This October, Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) Education will air 'Guerrilla Guide to Politics (GGP) to over 2000 K-12 schools, 64 public libraries, and 70 post-secondary institutions as part of the Georgia Secretary of States Civics Month" initiative. Guerrilla Guide to Politics," a fun, irreverent, content rich television program aimed at encouraging our young people to vote, will be used as a teaching tool for Georgia educators as they prepare their students to participate in Civics Months culminating event: a statewide mock election to be conducted entirely online. Guerrilla Guide" was created to reverse the decline of voting by our young people. Jim Rettew, creator and host remarked, I think young people are more alienated than apathetic.
