Robin Wright Penn is among the celebs that are said to lounge in the companys lush pajamas. Friends stylist, Debra McGuire bought 20 pairs last year to give as holiday gifts to the cast of Friends and NBC executives after dressing Courtney Cox in them for the show. Shortly after, McGuire named them a 'Must Have for 2004 in LA Confidential Magazine. A book recently released in August by Karen Robinovitz celebrating the Fashionista lifestyle titled, 'Fashionista Files, also praises the pajamas as a key to a good nights sleep.
Brandon Evans, the companys founder, came up with the idea of high thread-count pajamas while traveling on business. He had stayed at some of the finer hotels across the country and had always appreciated the luxury and comfort of those hotels that had invested in high thread-count bed linen. Since not every hotel he visited offered this opulence, he decided to take the concept a step further by creating the worlds first ultra high thread-count pajamas. Evans became obsessed with the idea of delivering the comfort of the worlds most blissful bedding no matter where you sleep, lounge, or relax.
In order to achieve the level of comfort desired, Evans decided to custom weave the companys proprietary fabric to exact specifications. Those specifications are kept largely in secret but the company will say that their fabric is 100% Egyptian cotton and is over 400 thread count which puts it in line with the worlds finest sheets. The result is a line of sleep and lounge wear that is unrivaled in comfort. New for the holiday season will be 14 new womens styles and 2 new mens styles of pajamas. The new collection features 'Shoely Obsessed, ($148) a classic cut pajama embroidered with many a womans obsession, shoes. 'Shoely Obsessed comes in aquamarine and lipstick, two new colors for the holidays. The style will come in aquamarine as well as white and black. In addition to the embroideries, THREADCOUNTzzz offers a brand new style of pajama featuring gorgeous ribbon trim and small bows for a very classic look ($154). THREADCOUNTzzz will also launch the first high thread count robes in October. The robes will come in white with black or tan stripes for men ($184) and women ($180). Womans robes will also come in aquamarine or lipstick ($180).
Another first in the high thread count world will be the companys ultra soft boxers ($38) made from the same proprietary fabric and packaged in a matching draw string bag, sure to be a favorite stocking stuffer this holiday season.
