St. John Missionary Baptist Church to sponsor a Non-Partisan Pre-Election Issues Forum on Monday September 27, 2004

St. John - Dallas will host a non-partisan pre-election issues forum on Monday, September 27, 2004 @ 6:30 pm. Invited guests include the candidates for the 32nd Congressional District race & Dallas County Sheriff Candidates. Voter registration in English & Spanish will be available on site.

(PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- St. John Missionary Baptist Church - Dallas will host a non-partisan pre-election issues forum on Monday, September 27, 2004 @ 6:30 pm. Invited guests include candidates for the 32nd Congressional District race, Congressmen Martin Frost & Pete Sessions; candidates for the Dallas County Sheriff's office, Lupe Valdez & Danny Chandler; Nate Crain (Chair of Dallas County Republican Party) and Susan Hayes (Chair of Dallas County Democratic Party). Voter registration will be available in English & Spanish. Congresswoman Eddie B. Johnson will open the forum with greetings and remarks. Community activists, Darnell & Edna Pemberton will serve as moderators for the forum. A reception with refreshments is planned from 6:30 - 7:00 pm. The forum will begin at 7:00 pm

St. John - Dallas is located at 2600 S. Marsalis Ave. in Oak Cliff.
