Airlift Services International to Expand into the Gas Industry
Anderson Indiana based Airlift Services International (ASI) announced today that it will begin testing its Airlift Oil Pumping System on natural gas wells.
(PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- Anderson Indiana based Airlift Services International (ASI) announced today that it will begin testing its Airlift Oil Pumping System on natural gas wells. According to CEO Dan Roberts, We have reached an agreement with a major east coast natural gas producer to use our pumping system on one of their wells, I anticipate having the system operational within the next 30 days."
The Airlift System will be used to remove water from a 2100-foot natural gas well. The well is in a very remote location, requiring Airlift to develop a method to operate their system using wellhead gas. ASI believes it will greatly expand its market by being able to use its system in the gas industry. According to Roberts, We have received a lot of inquires from operators looking to use the Airlift system on gas wells and with recent advancements in the Airlift system we are now able to focus resources toward the coal methane and natural gas market."
ASI is establishing test sites in different locations across the county to showcase the benefits the Airlift System has for oil, coal methane and natural gas wells. According to Roberts, We will have another test site on the east coast soon and we will be looking to establish more in different parts of the country through partnerships with existing gas and oil companies." These test sites are in addition to the test sites on oil wells that are now in place in several locations in the United States.
