Saratoga, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- Equividi has announced its EquiBarn product (patent pending) line to enable trainers, researchers, veterinarians, owners, and competitors to gather and analyze more information about the condition of their animals. EquiBarn is a series of patent pending products that will monitor the health and condition of animals including heart rate, water intake, body temperature, movement, and tracking. Information can be viewed at the location of the animal, at a centralized panel, or by a computer. The product allows one to set warning levels that will trigger a notification within on site monitors, computer alerts, pagers, cell phones.

The first product of the series is a cost effective water intake monitor. One of the major concerns with installing an automatic watering system is the ability to monitor water intake. EquiBarn products have resolved this issue by providing constant information monitoring water intake. You will be able to view a display that will show water intake over a set period of time and an average usage calculated over an extended period.

Water intake is an important indicator of the overall health of an animal. Increases or decreases in daily intake could indicate a change in health. Automatic watering units make it difficult to determine daily usage. This has hampered the installation of automatic watering systems. Having the display in a location where it is easy to view allows you to quickly check intake and determine if an animal should be monitored more closely for a health problem. Product shipments are scheduled for winter 2004.

We are very excited about this new product line. It will offer people advanced products to help them improve the quality of care for their animals. Our products offer technology and information to complement their existing care program", said Robert A. Rogers, President and CEO of Equividi Inc.
