Maximum Processing secures Athena contract with a Kansas mutual P&C company.
The mutual insurer had heard of Maximum Processing and was looking for a solution to a growing problem: Their software was out of date and was causing policy processing and underwriting a great deal of "Extra" work. They knew that they could not continue working with the software they had in place - but they also saw that the software options out there were well outside of their somewhat limited budget.
(PRWEB) September 26, 2004 -- "The mutual insurer had heard of Maximum Processing and was looking for a solution to a growing problem: Their software was out of date and was causing policy processing and underwriting a great deal of "Extra" work. They knew that they could not continue working with the software they had in place - but they also saw that the software options out there were well outside of their somewhat limited budget. The insurer compared the Maximum Processing Athena system to several other products as well as custom solutions available in their area. They even went to visit other sites to see competing software in action. But after all of this research they continued to be impressed with the Athena P&C solution and it's extensive list of capabilities. So, they choose to implement the Athena system... They said that the primary reason they choose Maximum Processing and the Athena system was: "because Athena is entirely web based we have the ability to allow our agents to do rating and policy issuance from any computer on the internet without installing additional software." Not only did the Athena system resolve a huge data entry problem for the insurer (because agents now do the rating online and can actually bind and issue a Dec-Page and policy jacket - they have done 100% of the data entry to create the new policy) - also the extensive Athena reporting system will enable the Management and Board of Directors to keep a much closer eye on their business."
