Families Mark Third Anniversary of 9/11

As our country marks the third year since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the families of the victims can testify to the fact that there is no statute of limitation on grief. No matter how many years pass, the pain will always be deeply felt by those who are missing a piece of their family, or a link in their circle of friends. Dealing with loss is a theme that is as much a part of life as the miracle of birth is.

(PRWEB) September 26, 2004 -- As our country marks the third year since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the families of the victims can testify to the fact that there is no statute of limitation on grief. No matter how many years pass, the pain will always be deeply felt by those who are missing a piece of their family, or a link in their circle of friends. Dealing with loss is a theme that is as much a part of life as the miracle of birth is. It is a continual emotion, felt anew by thousands every day as they experience their own grief and examine the resulting turmoil. Author Colleen MacDuff has captured this raw emotion in her new book, titled Through a Daughters Eyes.

Colleen MacDuff experienced the loss of her mother, and the story that accompanies that loss is a poignant, heartfelt journey through grief and finally, to an acceptance of death. The journey for Colleen began when she was a young girl, as she was taught and cared for by her mother. When her mother became terminally ill, Colleen was able to return the love and care for her mother daily. She was intricately involved in her illness. Her death created a deep sadness, and by celebrating her mothers life, the author attempts to find some peace concerning her mothers death. It is a universal struggle to accept what we cannot change, and death is one of the most challenging and unchangeable experiences we must learn to accept. MacDuff shares her experience with dignity and inspiration.

Whatever your experience with death and grief may be, Through a Daughters Eyes is a book that will assist you in your own journey to find peace. We will all be faced with the monumental task of accepting the loss of a loved one someday. Somehow, if there is a way to comprehend the necessary role that death must play, perhaps it will soften the edges of grief in our own personal understandings. Colleen MacDuff has experienced this and will take you through her own journey in Through a Daughters Eyes, published by American Book Publishing and available to order at stores near you. It is also available at a discount on the Publisher Direct Discount Bookstores website at http://www.pdbookstore.com.
