Stetson University Center Recognizes Third Anniversary with Genius DV, an Apple Training Center
The Stetson University Center at Celebration, Florida, has completed its third year with Genius DV, an Apple Training Center, that has added significantly to the educational offerings of the Center. GeniusDV specializes in training for Avid Xpress, Final Cut Pro, Motion and Studio Pro classes. It is a leading provider of digital video training classes.
(PRWEB) September 26, 2004 -- Three years ago when Stetson Technology Director Jay Braden met with Minds Eye Creative owner Mike Willats. The Stetson University Center, located on 1.1 acres in the Disney town of Celebration, was a new 36,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility for business and performing arts programs, graduate studies, and courses involving the latest technology training, such as MCSE courses. Minds Eye Creative was a full service post production video editing and DVD authoring firm emphasizing outstanding customer success.
Minds Eye was leasing space in the Stetson Center, and Mike was wondering how the two organizations might complement each other. The result was GeniusDV. The firm uses the Stetson facilities and provides instructors for the various programs it delivers. Its core training classes have been built around Apple's Final Cut Pro, and Avid Xpress Pro. Today both organizations are continuing to grow, and Mike and Jay often reflect on that very first meeting.
