The Long Beach Jaycees Host Their 7th Annual Bachelor Bid and Silent Auction

On Saturday, October 2, 2004 the Long Beach Junior Chamber (Jaycees) will host their 7th Annual Bachelor Bid and Silent Auction.

(PRWEB) September 26, 2004 -- This event will be held at Club Cohibas located at 144 Pine Avenue; Long Beach. This event will begin at 5pm with a reception, appetizers, and a silent auction. The live auction of bachelors and their date packages will follow and conclude around 9pm. We welcome women over the ages of 21 to this event. Proceeds from this event go to support the Family Aids Network, the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund and the LB Jr. Chamber Charitable Foundations Adopt A Teacher Program.

Previous bachelors have included local police officers, firefighters and other Long Beach professionals between the ages of 25-45. Each bachelor comes with a date package that includes dinner and an activity.

Advance tickets are available for $12 by calling 1-866-Jaycees or they can be purchased directly at www.lbjaycees.org. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $15. Ticket purchase includes access to Cohibas after the event. Donations and contributions are tax deductible.

The Long Beach Junior Chamber is a leadership development and networking organization dedicated to community service. This project is just one of many events that is organized by the volunteer members of the Long Beach Jaycees.
