College Football Fans Revolt and Demand To Be Heard

After years of controversy, pent-up anger and the frustration of being left out of the debate, College Football fans have started a Revolution. They are now demanding a voice selecting the Countrys Number One College football team. New web site, CollegeFootballTop25.com becomes the Revolution's rallying cry.

(PRWEB) September 30, 2004 -- After years of controversy, pent-up anger and the frustration of being left out of the debate, College Football fans have started a Revolution. They are now demanding a voice selecting the Countrys Number One College football team.

For decades, College footballs mythical National Champion has been decided by the Coaches and a select group of Sports Writers and Analysists. The recent addition of the BCS computer system has served to only fuel, not end the debate. Meanwhile, the College Football fans have been left standing on the sidelines without a voice, or vote.

The opening shot of the Revolution began this year with the creation of CollegeFootballTop25.com. This new web site provides College Football fans with the opportunity to join the debate and cast their vote for College Footballs Number One team.

According to Nick Gabriel, founder of the web site and life-long, avid College Football fan, College Football is played for the fans. Therefore, it only makes sense to give us a voice in selecting the Top 25 teams".

Gabriel started the web site after last years split National Championship shared by both Southern Cal and LSU. If they arent going to decide the Championship on the field, then at least give the fans a voice in picking the Number One team.", Gabriel remarked.

Each week throughout the entire College Football season, fans can log on to the site and cast their votes for the Countrys Top 25 teams. The votes are tracked and are available in real time so the fans can visit the site and see how their favorite team fairs.

Every Tuesday, the previous weeks votes are tallied and forwarded to the major Sports and News organizations. Gabriel believes that over time, the fans opinions will have an impact on how the Writers and Analysists vote, in effect, giving the fans a voice in the selection process.
