Join The Main Course Culinary Tours for four incredible days of exploration and experimentation in the culinary arts and the wines of the Texas Hill Country. We are offering two culinary tours this year to the Texas Hill Country, including two private cooking classes given by renowned local chefs, a private winery tour and wine tasting and luxurious accommodations at Rose Hill Manor, a fine country inn and restaurant near Fredericksburg, Texas. Rose Hill Manor has been featured in The Dallas Morning News, The San Antonio Express News, Southern Living, and Gourmet Magazine. The tour dates for 2004 are November 14, returning November 17, and the second tour takes place on December 12, returning December 15. Seats are limited and we will take a maximum of ten guests. The Main Course" is a Plano, Texas based business specializing in cooking classes, catering, and culinary tours in both Texas and Europe. Good food and wine is our passion.

(PRWEB) September 29, 2004 --You will be whisked away from Dallas for four days of an unparalleled experience in food and Texas wines.On the drive to Fredericksburg, we will stop in the quaint and historical town of Salado for lunch, then arrive at Rose Hill Manor, in time to experience a gourmet dinner at the acclaimed restaurant, Austins -- The Restaurant at Rose Hill Manor. Two private hands-on cooking classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday at Rose Hill Manor, culminating in a private tour and wine tasting at the award-winning Texas winery, Becker Vineyards. There will be time for tasting your own creations, and relaxing in your private sunroom. The library at Rose Hill also has thousands of books for your reading and browsing pleasure and wildlife and birds are abundant on the estate. If you havent visited Fredericksburg in a while, you will be amazed at how it has grown while retaining its original charm and ambiance. You will have plenty of free time to explore the area -- we will be your taxi.
For those that choose not to take part in the hands-on cooking classes, the area offers public golf courses, including the new Hidden Springs Championship Golf Course, rock climbing at Enchanted Rock State Park and many other leisure activities. Of course, you will also get to enjoy the results of the culinary classes. After your final delectable breakfast, we will return to Dallas, again stopping in Salado for lunch, just in case you missed one of the numerous intriguing shops and sites. The cost of each tour is $650 per person. This includes all transport from Dallas, accommodations, cooking classes and winery tour and tasting, most meals, and is based on double occupancy. There will be a surcharge for those requiring a single room. This does not include alcoholic beverages, state taxes, gratuities or personal expenses
