InsideOut Travel Magazines One-Year Anniversary

InsideOut Travel Magazine, a bimonthly online publication for budget travel enthusiasts, is celebrating its one-year anniversary on October 14, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) September 29, 2004 -- Something new is in the air-InsideOut Travel Magazine, Cama bar in San Franciscos Mission district and rising travel writer J. Maarten Troost all have a fresh take and new perspective to offer.

This past year has been very exciting for us, and meeting fellow travelers in the Bay Area at our happy hours has been really inspiring. Our one-year anniversary is a big step, and we just want to take a break and have a good time with our readers" said Helene Goupil, editor.

J. Maarten Troost, first-time author, will be there to sign copies of his recently published book, The Sex Lives of Cannibals," and to chat with travelers. The book tells the tale of Troost and his girlfriend as they embark on a two-year journey to a small island in the South Pacific. Expecting a vacation in paradise, the couple instead found themselves fighting off stray dogs and enduring the one song on the island-La Macarena"-for the umpteenth time.

The celebration will take place in the recently-opened Cama bar, in the heart of the Mission district. Inspired by the bed-like décor of supper clubs in Rome, Amsterdam and Bangkok, owner Santiago Rodriguez designed Cama to feature voyeuristic glimpses into the bed chambers of famous" personalities. A Jet Lag" cocktail will be available to InsideOut Travel Magazine supporters all evening at happy hour prices.

Cama is at 3192 16th Street in San Francisco. For directions, visit http://www.camasf.com
