Plans Announced for Ninth Annual Christmas-in-the-Park & Tree Lighting Festival

Up to 10,000 visitors are expected at the Ninth Annual Kingwood Town Center Christmas-in-the-Park and Tree Lighting Festival from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., December 4, 2004, at Town Center Park, according to plans announced by the Town Center Event Coordinators. The popular event is being sponsored by Kingwood merchants.

(PRWEB) September 30, 2004 -- Up to 10,000 visitors are expected at the Ninth Annual Kingwood Town Center Christmas-in-the-Park and Tree Lighting Festival from I0 a.m. to 8 p.m., December 4, 2004, at Town Center Park, according to plans announced by the Town Center Event Coordinators. The popular event is being sponsored by Kingwood merchants.

Lynn Dowler, Event Sponsor Coordinator, said the Festival would feature a Holiday Market extravaganza with more than 130 arts, crafts, and gift vendor booths. To delight the children, Santa Claus will be present at Amaryllis Flowers at varying times during the day, Dowler explained. Shows and activities for youngsters will include moonwalks, horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, balloon artists, and puppeteers. A festival highlight will be dancing and singing by various Kingwood dance and entertainment studios.

To herald the holiday season, Dowler said Kings Crossing merchants will decorate their shops with artistic displays of unusual merchandise and treasures just right for Christmas gifts.
