Wingstop has landed in Arkansas
Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., ranked the number one chicken wing chain by Entrepreneur magazine, has opened its first location in Arkansas.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark (PRWEB) January 13, 2004 -- Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., ranked the number one chicken wing chain by Entrepreneur magazine, has opened its first location in Arkansas.
Wingin It In Arkansas, Inc. owns the new Wingstop located in the West Markham Shopping Center at 11321 West Markham, Suite 2.
Weve had a lot of people come in that have tried us in Memphis and Texas, theyre very happy to see us finally get here," said Paul Leonard, who along with his wife, Cathy, owns the Wingstop. Were really excited to be open and look forward to introducing this concept to everyone in Little Rock."
Leonard signed a development agreement to open two Wingstop locations in the Little Rock area. Currently, Flake & Kelley Commercial Realty has a site search underway in North Little Rock for the second location.
My goal is to open at least four or five Wingstops in the central Arkansas region within the next three to five years," said Leonard. Wingstop will also be looking to enter the Conway,
Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, and Jonesboro markets, as well."
Wingstop is open from 4:00 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, and from 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
The Wingstop chain recently signed football great and long-time customer, Troy Aikman, as its national spokesman. The chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming-hot. Customers also choose from a variety of 28 domestic and imported beers, wine coolers, soft drinks and homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.
