Our trainees will be familiar with typical attacker profiles and actions, including case studies of actual assassinations and attempts that offer learning opportunities; understand and practice both scanning the surroundings for threats and possible threats and compensating for or responding to them as appropriate; know the basic history of protective services, and be able to identify key concepts and terms as they relate to this unique segment of the security field; have the information necessary to integrate the critical elements of an executive protection mission into a working field operation, assisting the client(s) with their conduct of business, while at the same time providing acceptable levels of protection; undertake a threat analysis, including evaluations of both internal and external threats; have a basic understanding of the collection and evaluation of intelligence as it relates to the principal and threat assessment; learn the fundamentals of site surveys that relate to the locations and routes the VIP may utilize; practice the correct formations related to both pedestrian and vehicular movement, and room search techniques; understand and practice basic responses to overt threats to the VIP, including but not limited to basic evasive and protective maneuvers, and will understand that the use of force, both armed and unarmed is dictated by laws of the jurisdictions where protective service personnel may be in operation.

The Israeli tactical response method is radically different from other combat techniques; Success is based solely on actual performance. This combat system has a distinct advantage of being consistently effective throughout history. It has been developed and refined over many decades of conflict in the Middle East.
