Women Celebrate Menstruation and Menopause in Local Moonlodge
The Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, is home to many wonderful woman-empowering activities throughout the year. Among these are the Moonlodge gatherings that the Wise Woman Center and Susun Weed, renowned herbalist and author of womens health books, have been offering the public for nearly 20 years.
(PRWEB) October 10, 2004 -- The Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, is home to many wonderful woman-empowering activities throughout the year. Among these are the Moonlodge gatherings that the Wise Woman Center and Susun Weed, renowned herbalist and author of womens health books, have been offering the public for nearly 20 years.
These gatherings are free and open to women of all ages. Participants are welcome to come sing, dance, and pass the talking stick and honor womens wisdom. Indoors or out, depending on the weather, each visit is sure to be a unique experience shaped by the moment and women present.
Womens Sacred Moonlodges are held on a nearly monthly basis, always on a Friday. The remaining dates for 2004 are July 23, August 20, September 3, October 1, and October 22.

Founded twenty years ago by internationally acclaimed author and herbalist Susun Weed, the Wise Woman Center exists with the purpose of offering a safe space for women to rediscover the Wise Woman Way.
