Medical Credentials Get Portable

Liquid Med File, the internet medical file company, this week announced a new service for health care professionals and nurse travel companies that converts all credential information into an online secure file. At $4.95 per month, the company claims they're the first to offer a complete "original view" practitioner employment document file on-line.

(PRWEB) October 2, 2004 -- "The issue of health care professional paperwork management is bigger than most companies realize. There is a great deal of faxing and duplication of effort in the present system. We concluded customers needed a single location that maintained practitioner documentation" says Liquid Med File Head of Communications Barbara Thorne.

Security, a real concern for anyone placing their documents on-line, particularly credential or medical documents, is managed with three different forms of encryption.

1. SSL Website encryption
2. Adobe Acrobat document encryption
3. Encrypted email for password sharing

The concept was to make a secure portable file that practitioners can point employers and recruiters towards. The service even sends out alerts when credentials are due to expire.

"I think we are coming upon a new era in terms of how health documentation will be managed. This information management is at the core of improving efficiency in the health care sector." points out Liquid Med File Head of Technical Operations Shaun Snapp

Health care professionals and travel companies who would like to learn more can do so at www.liquidmedfile.com.
