Minnesota Chapter of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) will hold conference to help career seekers learn about professional organizing.

There will be a half-day conference in Minnesota on October 9th with an expo and two breakout sessions offering a choice of seminars geared toward those who need help getting organized and those who may be interested in becoming a professional organizer.

BLOOMINGTON (PRWEB) October 3, 2004 - It seems the Minnesota Chapter of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) wants to increase their competition. The group is hosting a conference next week and hopes to attract budding professional organizers who are exploring this hot career choice. While it may seem counterintuitive to add more organizers to the competitive playing field, many NAPO-Minnesota members disagree. Theres a growing need for organizing help in homes and businesses," says Kim Pastor, President of NAPO-MN. With such demand, theres always room for more professionals to help."

The 6th Annual GO Week Fall Conference is targeted to both those who want to get organized and those who want to become professional organizers. The conference, which will take place on October 9, 2004 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hilton Airport Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota, coincides with National Get Organized" Week (GO Week), October 3-9. Event sponsors include SMEAD and 3M.

Conference Details
The half-day conference features an expo and two breakout sessions offering a choice of seminars geared toward those who need help getting organized and those who may be interested in becoming a professional organizer. The breakout sessions include:
·Discover Your Career as a Professional Organizer: Panel discussion.
·Get the Mail out of the Oven: Learning to manage your household from the kitchen counter to the kids' bedrooms.
·Save Time and Make More Money by Getting Paid for Your Marketing
Materials: Promote your business with booklets.
·Understanding Chronic Disorganization and What Can Be Done to Manage It: A panel discussion for people who work with, live with, or love someone who is chronically disorganized
