18 year old television talk show host succeeds at Fox, now looking for investor
18-year-old Jake Sasseville and his show, "THE EDGE" enjoyed a run on FOX WPFO, a top-100 market. The show still has a list of potential advertisers, and Sasseville's show brought in 300% more advertising and sponsorship dollars than any other show in that market. As "THE EDGE" inches closer to national syndication, they are searching for an investor.
(PRWEB) October 3, 2004 -- An 18-year-old with a Plan
Jake Sasseville, the zany host of The Edge with Jake Sasseville has enjoyed quite a bit of success in his young eighteen-years. Sasseville created, currently executive produces and hosts The Edge with Jake Sasseville. He created the show because he wanted a television talk and variety show geared toward the younger adult demographic.
There was never anything on afternoon television that was fun, laid back and entertaining when I was younger," says Sasseville, and so I wanted to create it."
Now hes in New York City with his unique concept in one hand and his gee-whiz" humor in another. Hes pushing his once home-grown caffeinated blend of entertainment with human interest from a young adult perspective into national syndication.
The Edge with Jake Sasseville enjoyed phenomenal success on FOX WPFO, a top-100 market. The Edge pulled in 300% more advertising and sponsorship dollars than any other television program in that market. The reason, Sasseville says, is simple. Audiences and advertisers love to see something unique in television. And when they do, like with us, they latch on to it."
Indeed, Sassevilles show is unique. Taping half the show in a studio and going out on the road to the guests themselves for the other half, The Edge has been welcomed on the set of NBCs Will and Grace and had the cast of the show, been featured in national publications and Sasseville himself has won the praise of casting directors and executive producers from Maine to Los Angeles alike.
Jakes got the kid energy of Graham Norton and the 'gee whiz' good humor of Ellen DeGeneres," says co-Executive producer of Will and Grace Adam Barr, Im excited to see where he goes next."
But now, the talk show host needs your help.
As Sasseville continues to push his show toward national syndication, hoping to compete in the daytime market, he is searching for an investor. With an investor, he says, the show will be able to tape a selected amount of episodes professionally and then will be able to better syndicate the episodes nationally.
Look, its a great opportunity for someone to be able to help this show get off the ground just a bit more," Sasseville says, and weve already proven that we can attract advertisers and win the hearts of audiences."
Surely, those audiences will be hearing a lot more from Jake Sasseville in the years to come.
