World Class Tribute Artists:
Steve Kern (a.k.a. Little John) as John Denver
http://JohnDenverTribute.com
An internationally acclaimed entertainer, musician, actor, author, songwriter, now brings to life on stage the legacy of the great John Denver – keeping John Denvers spirit, music, and environment awareness alive to audiences today. Steve also writes his own music that sounds like John Denver spirit helped write them.
"In fact, Kern has the same lanky blond hair, the same moon-shaped face, the same ear-to-ear grin as one of Colorados most famous icons. Put him in denim and give him a pair of those big round specs, and Steve Kern is the second coming of John Denver." Craig Completa as Cat Stevens
http://CatStevensTribute.com
Hear the name Cat Stevens and your mind is brought back to the carefree, sunshiny days of the early 70's, and songs like Moonshadow, Peace Train, and Morning Has Broken, flow into your mind. Craig Completa recreates that tranquility when he performs as of one of the great singer/songwriters of that time: Cat Stevens. Craig has been performing in various bands and solo since 1984, and has also performed on television. Craig writes his music and it sound like Cat Stevens was in the studio giving a helping hand.
The resemblance is striking!"
Val Davies (personal friend of Cat Stevens, and wife of Cat's former guitarist, Alun Davies)
Drew Harrison as John Lennon
http://www.the-sun-kings.com
Here is a guy who has been a John Lennon fan since he was old enough to talk. Presently performs with a band called "The Sun Kings", specializing in Beatles music. Drew has the similar ideals as Lennon; in fact, is studying at Berkeley to gain a degree as a Peacemaker. Boy can this guy play guitars, in fact last time I saw him on stage he had about 10 different guitars. As a teen, Drew found John Lennon solo albums and books. It is not a stretch to say Lennon's early solo material provided a guidance and philosophy with which Drew lives his life. . Writing the lyrics out at school, and by 15 years old ‘Imagine' was his favorite song. He says he plays it every New Years Eve since then, as a reminder of what life could be like.
Drew has performed in Europe, America and the Czech Republic. Drew Harrison writes his own music.
Yes you guessed it! They sound just like Lennon helped him write these songs as well.
