Rock 'N' Roll Legends to Perform at the 8th Annual Rock 4 X-MAS 2004 Christmas Charity Event, All Proceeds to Benefit L.I. Homeless and Fire/Rescue Widows and Children

This year, the show will be held at the Wildwood Bowl, located at 3951 Lake Avenue, Riverhead Long Island, NY 11901. The proceeds will go to the Nassau Suffolk Coalition for the Homeless & Fire / Rescue Widows and Children fund of Long Island. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 4th from 1pm till 3am. For those unfamiliar with this annual event, the Rock 4 X-MAS Foundation organizes events to benefit the less fortunate during the winter holidays. Over the past eight years, the Rock 4 X-MAS Foundation has raised money and provided entertainment for families in need throughout the United States of America. Many Rock and Roll music legends have joined and teamed up with the foundation over the years, putting on some very memorable concert performances for audiences in select US cities.
This year, members from Anthrax, Quiet Riot, Great White, WASP, Metal Church, Orleans, Shadows of Knight, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zebra, Frehleys Comet and Mountain to name just a few will join a variety of local bands on stage. The all day and night 14+ hour music marathon event begins at 1pm in the afternoon on Saturday, December 4 and is scheduled to run well beyond the midnight hour, finishing up somewhere around 3am. The concert will provide rock music fans with an impressive combination of celebrity musical performances. Local and regional acts will include Public Secret, Sister Blind, Beyond Blonde, Signal 2 Noise, World War Peace, Dan Acosta, Jake Live and many more.
The Rock 4 X-MAS Foundation Inc., a non-profit 509(a)2 Federal Charity, exists to help those in need, while also providing rock 'n roll fans with a unique and unforgettable musical experience. For those who cannot attend the show, the Rock for Christmas Foundation also accepts contributions (even as small as one dollar) and donations of much needed frequent flyer miles, at their web site online. Efforts require transport of crew and performers between locations throughout America. In addition, select high profile sponsorships for the upcoming 2004 events are available. The organization carries out its mission in part through donations from private and corporate sponsors, philanthropists and musicians. They are always looking for additional assistance, partnerships, corporate sponsors, as well as new venues. Contributions are accepted and appreciated in any amount at their web site, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Even a small donation of $1.00 helps out a great deal.
