What impact can QUALITY have on your business? Global Expert explores the answer at October 19th Ready Set Grow Session.

Noted Quality expert and executive Charles Loew will lead the exploration of the impact quality can have on a business - the benefits and the costs at the October 29, 2004 session of the Ready Set Grow Series in Mesa, Arizona.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) October 6, 2004 -- CorePurpose, Inc., a management consulting, software and outsourced solutions provider, today announced the 10th installment in the Ready Set Grow Lecture Series : Focus on Quality: The Value of Six Sigma"

Is Quality the Key to Total Customer Satisfaction?

There has been lots of talk about the importance of quality -- but with what results and at what cost?" asked Joan-Koerber-Walker, executive director of CorePurpose, Inc. In the October Ready Set Grow session, local executives will explore the impact of quality on business results and apply it in a way that makes sense no matter what the size of your business."

Over the past 100 years there have been many innovative approaches to organizations that want to improve the quality of the products and services delivered to their Customers. Many of these approaches were developed by Quality leaders such as Demming and Juran. Most of these methods are still being used with varying degrees of success. In the early 1980s one organization decided to use Quality as the way to compete against the onslaught of excellent products that were being imported to the USA by Japan.

The session will explore:
•   Six Sigma-The fundamental methodology developed by Motorola
•   Why it worked so well then
•   Why it CAN work for your organization today
•   And why it stopped working for Motorola in the late 1990s.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to executive experts share insights and then participate in workshops designed to apply the same concepts to their own companies.

The discussion will be lead by Charles J. Loew, President, Maset, LLC. With over 38 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and management, Charles Loew specializes in helping companies develop and implement both the organizational and operational strategies required to be successful in a competitive environment. His focus has been in the area of cycle time reduction.

As president of MASET, LLC, Charles has formed a Company to help organizations implement the Six Sigmasm Quality Culture developed by Motorola. He was instrumental in this effort for over 10 years with the Consulting and Training Services Team of Motorola University. Charles joined Motorola as President of Spectrum CVD, a Motorola New Enterprise subsidiary and provided the vision and leadership to change Spectrum from an R & D focus to that of an emerging business and was instrumental in its successful divestiture. Prior to Motorola, Charles spent many years in manufacturing, holding senior management and chief executive positions with several different companies. As General Manager of cable and sensor operations for the largest land geophysical company in the world, Charles had total profit and loss responsibility for a unit that included up to 1,000 people with facilities in Argentina, Canada, England and Holland. He has also held positions as Manufacturing Manager, Service Center Production Control Manager, Manufacturing Profit Center Manager, and Planning Engineer. Charles was awarded a B.S., Mechanical Engineering from Union College and a M.S., Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
