Blog to Explore Philosophy of 'The Sun Singer'

Site supporting new fantasy novel will serve as a resource for teachers and students.

(PRWEB) October 6, 2004 -- A blog launched October 1 explores the symbolism and philosophy of "The Sun Singer," a mythic novel by Malcolm R. Campbell published in June.

Called "Sun Singers Travels," the site (http://sunsinger.blogspot.com) will serve as an evolving resource for literature teachers, students of mythology and comparative religion, and individuals who view their own lives as a quest.

"'The Sun Singer' is both an adventure novel and a parable about personal transformation," Campbell said. "While the novels structure is based on mythologys classic heropath, the book also contains an eclectic mix of Qabalistic, Rosicrucian, and Native American motifs and symbolism that are open for discussion in the blog."

"The Sun Singer" is the story of protagonist Robert Adams who visited the statue of the Sun Singer, received the gift of prophecy and enjoyed fame as the 'Soothsayer of West Wood Street until a cruel tragedy convinced him his psychic dreams were more of a curse than a blessing. As he begins a quest to complete an ailing grandfathers unfinished mission, he must resurrect his dangerous talent to uncover family secrets, triumph in battle, fulfill his promises, and survive the trip home with new knowledge about time, dreams and himself.
