Friends Of The South Bay Youth Project To Provide A Special Treat For Families At Second Annual Castle Of Friends Event

Thanks to Thomas J. Barnett at American Capital, Attendees of This Year’s Event are in for a Special Parting Gift

Redondo Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 7, 2004

The Friends of the South Bay Youth Project (SBYP), the non-profit organization that provides counseling and parenting services to families in need in the South Bay, announced today that they will be taking a cue from the Golden Globes, the Emmys and the Oscars this year by handing out gift bags to all attendees. For the first time, instead of the typical “freebies” given at most fundraising events, the families attending the second annual Castle of Friends event on Sunday, October 24th, 2004 will receive a gift bag chock full of wonderful products created by It’s In The Bag http://www.itsinthebaginc.com. This is all made possible by a generous donation from Thomas Barnett, Mortgage Banker at American Capital 310-918-0725. In addition to the gift bag sponsorship, Tom has agreed to donate $250 back to SBYP from each loan transaction that comes as a result of his participation with the Castle of Friends event.

“This event is going to be wonderful for all family members,” said Dan Smith, Executive Director for the South Bay Youth Project. “ We are thrilled to be able to thank the families for supporting our organization by giving them these special gifts, thanks to the generous donations from Thomas Barnett at American Capital and wonderful family-oriented product companies who are making it possible.”

The gift bags will be filled with wonderful family-oriented items. The South Bay Salon in Redondo Beach has provided a certificate for children’s haircuts. HomeGrown Kids, Inc. http://www.homegrownkids.com is supplying each family with one of their fabulous Eat ‘n Play coolers – the cooler that not only provides space to put kids snacks and food, but also games and toys to help occupy the little ones for hours. Each family will receive a cool Modern Army Skate and Surf http://www.joldesigninc.com t-shirt for the skateboard and surfboard enthusiasts. Make-Bake-Decorate Kids Cooking Kits that include the foods kids love to create will be included from Kids Cooking Kits http://www.kidscook.com. Body Breathe http://www.bodybreathe.com, is providing their all-natural lotions, wonderful for the entire family to use. Primal Elements http://www.primalelements.com included their bath and body gelees for each attendee. To help keep families organized, Each-an-original http://www.eachanoriginal.com is supplying their lovely hand painted magnets for each gift bag.
