(PRWEB) October 6, 2004 -- August 2004 saw the birth of the brand new 'Raw Art Festival'. This included Folk/Intuitive/Marginalised/Self-taught/Visionary art etc. This exhibition featured at least 65 artists works from nine different countries. Furthermore, 46 artists and 4 representatives were physically present on the private view night. This made the festival Londons largest international exhibition of self-taught art. The quality of art shown was truly remarkable and there was a good atmosphere too. For more information please visit: www.rawartsfestival.co.uk

There have thus been many artists and organisations who have expressed an interest in exhibiting in another Raw Arts Festival. They will be pleased to hear that a new one has been booked for May 2005. The location of the festival will again be the Candid Arts Trust in Central London. Candid traditionally holds many Art Degree shows in June. So there should be many members of the public available to attend the festival.

As usual only the best artists and organisations will be chosen to exhibit. Entries are accepted on a first come – first served basis. There is thus no deadline for entries. Instead there is limit to the number of bookings that can be made and once the galleries are full – no more entries can be accepted. It is thus advisable for artists and organisations to book early. The organiser is again keen to encourage artists and organisations from all over the world to apply. This should thus create a platform upon which people can develop links, etc.
