New website offers help for the victims of the hurricanes.

NEW YORK - Whether youre an enthusiastic supporter of President Bush, John Kerry, Ralph Nader, or just a hard-core political junkie, you have an opportunity to acquire some of the hippest, hottest campaign buttons of the 2004 political season - and help countless victims of Mother Natures fury.

For each button thats purchased from its Web site, Shopforacause.us
will make a donation to relief efforts aiding people who were injured or
lost homes when back-to-back hurricanes ripped across the Caribbean and
the southeastern United States.

This is a unique opportunity for collectors and political activists of
all persuasions to acquire memorabilia that will increase in value over
the years - and help people whose lives were turned upside down by this
tragedy of nature.

Many victims in the Caribbean were facing desperate conditions even
before Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne struck.
Shopforacause.uss principals have strong family ties to the
Caribbean, and decided to step up to the plate when they realized that their
families and friends would be especially hard hit by the back-to-back
storms.

"We wanted to help as many people as we could in the best way that we
could," said Shopoforacauses Danielle Commin. In a crisis like this, where there has been so much destruction in Florida and in the Caribbean, we should all try to do whatever we can to help the survivors rebuild their lives."

In Florida, which was especially hard hit by the hurricanes, one out of
every five homes has been damaged, according to the Associated Press,
and insured losses from the four storms have been estimated at $18
billion.

Jeanne left more than 1,500 dead in Haiti and destroyed the islands
corn crop, rice paddies and orange groves. According to recent news
reports, many Haitians fear they will starve unless the United Nations and
other international food relief arrives soon. The United Nations is
appealing for $30 million in emergency aid for Haiti.

Elsewhere in the Caribbean, the four hurricanes spread a swath of death
and destruction that is unparalleled in recent times. In Jamaica,
Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada and the Cayman Islands, the damage threatens to disrupt the tourist industry those islands depend on. Some tourist
hotels may have to remain closed for a year in order to repair the
damage.

Shopforacause will continue to do all we can to help the victims of
the hurricanes," Danielle Commin. By buying their campaign buttons and other memorabilia from our Web site, people can make
a double statement of principles - one to show they support a particular political party or candidate, and the other to show they care about
their fellow human beings."

Shopforacause.us offers campaign buttons representing all parties and
shades of political opinion. Prices are competitive and the selection
is one of the most extensive in the Tri-State area.
