The Constellation Concierge ushers out the hurricane season with a gala event benefiting The Red Cross, the orphanage Â? Asociacion Esperanza y Caridad Â?, and Florida International University.

The Constellation Concierge, South Beach’s only 24-hour luxury concierge and event planner, is hosting a much-needed “ South Beach soiree ” on October 9th to shake off the effects of the hurricane season and to raise funds for Florida’s hurricane victims.

Fraser Allport, Constellation’s founder, is a firm believer that truly successful people and businesses are very involved in neighborhood, community, and philanthropy. “ Everyone in South Florida needs relief from these storms,” said Allport. Fraser continued, “ Constellation is all about leadership—Leading great people, in great Teams, to do great things for great causes. ”

That’s why The Constellation Foundation will request modest donations from every person attending this South Beach party. “ Heck, the free valet parking alone allows all attendees to pitch in a few dollars for a worthy cause. Great Teams can collectively raise great sums. Now that’s a great party – Classy Fun, with panache, pizzazz, and philanthropy. It’s only a small donation per guest, but it adds up quickly. It’s very rewarding to wake up the next day and know that all the Fun was for good causes, ” smiled Allport.

Constellation will also be raising funds for Florida International University’s Council of 100, represented by Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Horstmyer, and also for the Peruvian orphanage Esperanza y Caridad, represented by Miami philanthropists Alan and Rocio Telisman. Accompanied by his wife Sheila, Miami Attorney Richard Lehrman, immediate past President of The Planned Giving Council of Miami Dade, will accept the donations for The Red Cross.

Constellation is teaming up with sizzling Chilean artist Carla Fache to break the cabin fever and launch Miami’s Fall Season on South Beach with cool art and cool people. Fache has spent the entire summer in seclusion, painting “ brilliance ” in preparation for launching her new gallery in Miami’s Wynwood Art District. “ In contrast to these terrible hurricanes, Carla’s art will be a positive re-affirmation about Life, Love, Living, and Giving,” said Allport.

In addition to the donations made by The Constellation Concierge, Miami legend Charlie Cinnamon, “ Vision Miami ” founder Johnny Regan, and celebrity model Nayana Nava will drum up support for a silent auction of a Carla Fache original. The proceeds will benefit Esperanza’s children.

“ The entire event is geared to help Esperanza’s orphans, Florida International University, and Florida’s hurricane victims. It’s The Power of Teams. South Beach’s ' Working Fabulous ' are going to lead the way in showing the world how to have spectacularly Fun parties for philanthropic causes. It’s called ‘ Classy Fun for Charities ’. If you are influential and you care, you have to be there, ” said Allport.

Mary Spio, the founder of One2One Magazine, will donate 25 paid subscriptions for a year of online dating with One2One Magazine’s state-of-the-art online dating service to 25 lucky singles. In addition, The Constellation Concierge will hold a drawing for “ The Constellation Experience ” – an “ Expect The Impossible ” evening out on South Beach, courtesy of The Constellation Concierge.

This elegant South Beach event will also honor two Special Guests. Celebrating her 80th birthday in style is the Grande Dame of South Beach, Lady Joan Allport, accompanied by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Vernon G. Allport, Lt. Colonel, Ret., celebrating his 81st birthday.

Join “ The Working Fabulous ” at South Beach’s Fache Art Gallery for three good causes and “ Expect The Impossible ”. Bask in Carla Fache’s stunning new artwork, party in South Beach with Miami’s finest, and “ Give yourself a pat on the back for caring about the plight of others not as fortunate as all of us here in our little slice of South Beach paradise, ” said Allport.

The celebration will begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 9th, 2004. The Carla Fache Art Gallery is located in The Wynwood Art District, at 2300 North Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida. Free valet parking will be provided.
