New Poetic Rhyming Children's Picture Book Created To Help Children With Physical Limitations Feel Special, Unique And Most Of All Loved

Finally a children's picture book to help parents and teachers with their special and unique child express how they feel. A book to be read by children of all ages who need with expressing their feelings.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) October 9, 2004 -- September 2004, Wanda M. R. Garrett a Spiritual Poet released her first children’s picture book. This colorful and warmhearted rhyming picture book was also illustrated by the author. It’s the first in a series to help children feel good about who they are. Children with physical limitations need an outlet and "Little David" has an outlet for their feelings. This special picture book can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

"Little David" is a rhyming children’s picture book for parents who have a special needs child or teachers who work with special needs children. This book will help the child to associate what they are feeling with a color. All children need an outlet to express how they feel. The child being able to draw inside their very own book adds a unique and special touch. The parents and teachers will be able to help the child through activity fun pages in the back of the book. Wanda’s inspiration for this unique picture book was placed in her spirit by Father God. Out of her own physical limitations Little David was created. Since becoming disabled Wanda has developed a new outlook on life and was forced to reinvent her own life. In dealing with her own feelings of despair not being the person she use to be; she wondered what a child went through not being able to run and play like other children. This picture book can be use as a tool for parents and teachers to help a child with physical limitations deal with their feelings.

Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, this God ordained poet now lives in Concord, North Carolina with her husband. She has three adult children and eight grandchildren, and one great grandson.
She is a self-published author of a collection of spiritual poetry called, “Expressions From Wanda,” published 2001, second printing 2003 published through Conquering Books L.L.C. in Charlotte, NC. She published her second collection of poetry January 2005 called, "God Cares for You" through LuLu Inc online publisher. She is co-author of a pilot novel called, “Show A Little Love, published June 2004. Wanda has other poems published in anthologies and performs her poetry at special invitational events throughout Charlotte.
