FCIB Announces 15th Annual Global Conference in Key Biscayne, Fl.

FCIB's 15th Annual Global Conference will take place in Key Biscayne, Florida, with Lt. General Daniel Christman presenting the keynote speech. All credit, international business, and financial professionals are encouraged to attend.

Columbia, MD (PRWEB) October 10, 2004 -- FCIB, the premier association of professionals in finance, credit and international business, announced the details of its 15th annual global conference, to be held in Key Biscayne, Fl., outside of Miami.

This years conference, Global Business Credit 2004: Mastering International Credit, will be held November 14-16 at the Ritz-Carlton, Key
Biscayne.

The conference is designed to assist the credit professional in sharpening their skills with fresh new insights. It will tackle pressing topics in international credit while simultaneously educating attendees on the fluctuations of the evolving global markets.

Lt. General Daniel W. Christman has been chosen as the keynote speaker. Christman is Senior Vice President for International Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Christmans background in international relations is extensive, as he has represented the Chamber before foreign business leaders and government officials when dealing with issues that affect the international
business community. Christmans accomplished resume also includes a former position with the Kimsey Foundation, where he assisted in launching a political reform program in China. His presentation, entitled Understanding a World in Conflict," is scheduled for Monday, November 15th.

Other speakers include Dr. Hans Belcsák, President of S.J. Rundt & Associates, speaking on World Markets in Review"; Paul Beretz, CICE, of Pacific Business Solutions, presenting Export Credit Management Basics"; Rafael Castillo-Triana from FTAA Consulting, Inc., giving the talk Collection and Legal Issues in Latin America"; and Henry Chan of HLC Group International and Julian Chen of ABC-Amega Inc., presenting Emerging Markets in Asia". Paul
Angeli of AON Trade Credit will serve as moderator in the presentation Advanced Trade Solutions for the Credit Professional," along with panelists Pierre Dulin of BLADEX; Brian Jarmain from Silverpoint Capital; and Jerry Topitzer of JPMorgan. David Clark of Euler Hermes ACI will be moderating the roundtable discussion Around the Globe." Panelists on this discussion include Thomas Brady of Corning Cable Systems and Marion Lake, representing Engelhard Corp.
