New SchmartBridge Program Creates New Level of Prototyping Development Flexibility and Cost Savings

SchmartBOARD, a company that manufactures a new type of prototyping board to help engineers, students and hobbyists create electronic circuit prototypes, has announced a program to add flexibility to prototype development.

Fremont, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2004 -- One of the major differences between Schmartboard and competing prototyping boards is the SchmartBridge. This is the plastic piece that in conjunction with the holes on the sides of Schmartboards, allows one to physically connect the Schmarboards together. Some of our customers have rightly deduced that it would make sense to be able to connect SchmartBoards to existing prototypes. For instance, adding our populated RS232 Schmartboard to an existing prototype to add RS232 functionality.

Schmartboard is now offering the specifications of our holes for use by interested companies. By putting the holes on all of ones prototypes, one can easily add Schmartboards via the SchmartBridge to test changes before making more expensive modifications. Respinning boards is costly. It makes much more sense to double check modifications using Schmartboard, before spending the money on new revisions

This is a free program. For details please contact us or go to:
