Actor Dan Pintauro and the HRC to Host the Ryan's Life Premiere/Party in West Hollywood, CA, on National Coming Out Day

The Human Rights Campaign is sponsoring a screening of Ryan's Life, a short film about a gay high school student's experience of coming out.

Actor Dan Pintauro will host the film screening which will take place October 11 (National Coming Out Day) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Here Lounge in West Hollywood, Calif. The film features the smash dance hit "Higher Place" performed by singer/songwriter Peyton, who also stars as the food and wine expert on the UK version of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Tickets are available for $10 at, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Human Rights Campaign. Free drinks will be available from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. A raffle will also take place with such items as Queer as Folk Season 1, 2, and 3 DVD Box Sets, and CD sets from Hed Kandi Records artists.

Sponsors of the event include HERE Lounge, Showtime Entertainment, Hed Kandi Records, and The Trevor Project.
