Mighty Map is a virtual treasure map of opportunities for New York City area professionals.

In the ever-changing landscape of New York City, real estate professionals are asking more intelligent questions about the community they will be investing in. The price might be right and the taxes might be low, but what comparable properties exist that might still be available? What kind of zoning is the property adjacent to?

Jonas Rodofsky, a successful real estate developer has created a new online mapping service called 'Mighty Map', based on his own professional needs. "Real estate is a dynamic marketplace and does not lend itself to a printed medium very well," said Rudofsky. "Mighty Map can show you a representation of spaces that draws people and places together."

The interactive tool displays the dynamics of a community by pulling together data from a wide variety of sources and combining it into seamlessly integrated map views. Users can quickly locate any property on the map and get detailed information such as the size, location, description, tax value, zoning rights and owner information. Additional tools allow the user to view foreclosure and auction properties, and measure exact distances between two locations. Professionals can leverage their time and experiences by looking at an entire region in instead of a few blocks at a time.

"Multiple Listing Service (MLS) are fine for viewing available property listings, but Mighty Map is a tool for discovering finding a communities resources around the property," said Rudofsky. "This information is critical for real estate brokers, developers, architects, attorneys, and potential homebuyers."

Mighty Map covers Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and the Bronx. With over four hundred area subscribers, Mighty Map is poised to go nationwide. Says Rudofsky, "Any map can show you where you are, but Mighty Map can show you where you want to be."
