Taye Drums announced today Taye Endorser Bruce Aitkens Cape Breton International Drum Festival has been nominated for Event of the Year by the Music Industry Association of Nova Scotia (MIANS). The Nova Scotia Music and Industry Awards, sponsored by MIANS, are part of Nova Scotia Music Week / RendezVous Folk! 2004 at the Delta Halifax, 18-21 November 2004. MIANS is a non-profit organization based in Halifax, NS. Formed in 1989, its mandate is to foster, develop, and promote the full potential of the music industry in Nova Scotia. The Awards Brunch will take place in Halifax on Sunday, 21 November. Awards will be given out in a total of 34 categories.
