(PRWEB) October 10, 2004 -- New contest seeks to discover Top 10 reasons people procrastinate
People mean well; they really do. But one of the main obstacles to progress at home, school, or work is procrastination. Even when you fully intend to follow through, 7 times out of 10 you dont. Why is that? Nancy Boyd, founder of The DayToppers Program and a graduate of Coach U, is sponsoring a contest during the month of October, 2004, to discover the Top Ten Ways that people procrastinate -- and why.
"There is so much shame and guilt over not getting things done," says Boyd. In our program, we see people who have had plans for years to do something important, but their pattern has been to put off doing it. The DayToppers Program helps you overcome that." Boyd adds, "Its so sad that people dont know there are better ways to cope, because they miss out on all the great results they could be getting."
To enter the contest, go to this web page and follow the simple instructions: http://daytoppers.com/landing/index.asp?pageid=16
The contest ends on October 30, 2004. Winners will be announced on November 1, 2004 by email, on the web site and in media releases. Winners will be randomly selected. First prize winner will have first choice of prizes, and so on until all the winners and prizes have been matched.

The DayToppers Program is a new service created just for busy, active people who have important things to accomplish, and little time in which to do it. DayToppers helps people focus on a priority task or project, using a coach and a small group to support daily action steps. "In only 15 minutes a day, you can get very clear about what is the next thing you must do. You may only have a short amount of time, but the time you DO have can be very effective," says Boyd, a graduate of CoachU and founding member of the Graduate School of Coaching.
"Instead of trying to do too much at once, why not eliminate some of the stress by getting clear focus on your most important project, and giving it the attention it deserves? That is one of the fastest strategies to success, we've discovered," says Boyd. " One of the reasons the program worked so well for me is that I hated to appear a failure in front of others. The daily check-in kept the meter ticking and momentum going. If you tend to procrastinate, this is the program for you," says Marion Ryan, a satisfied DayToppers client.
